What will this bill do?

•  Adds to House Bill 1511 that was passed into law during the 2021 special legislative session.

  • HB 1511 prohibited a state government entity from requiring documentation that certifies the following before providing access to property, funds, or services:

    • An individual's COVID-19 vaccination status. SB 2274 adds “or vaccination status for a vaccine that is under emergency use authorization from the federal food and drug administration”

    • The presence of COVID-19 pathogens, antigens, or antibodies; or

    • An individual's COVID-19 post-transmission recovery status;

  • HB 1511 also prohibited private businesses from requiring documentation certifying the following before providing customer access to, entry upon, or services from the business:

    • COVID-19 vaccination. SB 2274 adds “or vaccination authorized by the federal food and drug administration under emergency use authorization”

    • The presence of COVID-19 pathogens, antigens, or antibodies; or

    • An individual's COVID-19 post-transmission recovery status.

  • HB 1511 prohibited private businesses from obtaining documentation for purposes of certifying the following before employment or providing access to property, funds, or services based on:

    • An individual's COVID-19 vaccination status. SB 2274 adds “or vaccination status for a vaccine that is under emergency use authorization from the federal food and drug administration”

    • The presence of COVID-19 pathogens, antigens, or antibodies, or

    • COVID-19 post-transmission recovery to gain access to, entry upon, or services from the business.

Why is this bill needed?

• The COVID-19 pandemic ushered in a global wave of medical authoritarianism and profit-driven, experimental vaccines. In the mass marketing of Covid vaccines, many lies were propagated amongst the corrupt collusion of the federal government, pharmaceutical companies, and the mainstream media. We must guard against this from ever happening again during future global health crises and any experimental vaccines that arise as a result.
