Teacher’s Unions and schools across the country are encouraging teachers to keep changed pronouns and gender transition from parents. Transition closets where students can change into gender-affirming clothing at school - without parental knowledge or consent - have been implemented in many schools and may be coming to your school as well. There is only one type of adult who encourages children to keep secrets from their parents: predators. The vast majority of teachers want parental involvement in their student’s education and are good, moral, upstanding citizens. We must not let political activism within the public school system bully teachers into compromising their ethical standards. Teaching kids how to read primarily through whole language instruction instead of using phonics was implemented by progressive socialists in order to dumb down a nation. Unfortunately, this purposeful educational malpractice has worked tremendously well over the last 100 years. Kids who can’t read proficiently turn into adults who don’t read at all. An illiterate nation is infinitely more susceptible to government propaganda as well as the spread of socialism and Marxist ideologies such as Gender Theory. Moms for Liberty is doing the painstaking work of rooting out porn and sexually explicit material from public school libraries. Their efforts have been deemed by the American Library Association (ALA) as a fascist attempt to ban books, but nothing could be further from the truth. Providing healthy boundaries and advocating for age-appropriate material for children and teens used to be the norm among responsible, mature adults, but is now considered bigoted by many. The ALA actively advocates for books like This Book is Gay and Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl which are aimed at teens and feature explicit sexual content, sometimes complete with graphic pictures. The partnership of parents and teachers is a powerful way to protect students from the developmentally and spiritually harmful content that is being pushed into public schools.
