Responding to the transgender movement

What can health professionals do?

The medical establishment is quickly being overtaken by political and ideological activists. Scientific debate, particularly surrounding the issue of gender, is now silenced and potentially a serious punishable offense. The politicization of medicine will continue to have catastrophic consequences for individuals and society until we return to a respect for and adherence to rigorous scientific and ethical standards.

Align with the good guys.

The American Medical Association and American Academy of Pediatrics have been taken over by activists who allow their political and cultural ideologies to inform their guidelines rather than science and ethics. The AMA is now attempting to weaponize the full weight of the Department of Justice to silence those who oppose so-called gender affirming care. Consider joining the following associations.

Follow the money.

The World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) is heralded as the leading authority on “transgender health”, yet their guidelines are far from scientifically and ethically sound. Instead, their recommendations are formulated by those in the gender industry who have a significant financial stake in making their guidelines conducive to creating as many life-long patients as possible. Vanderbilt Hospital was recently exposed for their financial motivation in offering “gender-affirming care”, and it is far from the only hospital who has realized the riches to be had from a continuous medical pipeline of hormones and surgeries. WPATH is committed to removing any obstacle - including parental consent - that stands in the way of their financial and ideological goals, and their guidelines should be roundly condemned as financially and ideologically-motivated pseudoscience in addition to grave medical malpractice.

Know that the regret is real.

The lawsuits are just beginning. The world’s largest gender clinic is now being sued by 1000 families. More and more young people are having deep regret over the irreversible decisions they were not equipped to make. Gender dysphoria and normal anxiety over puberty should be met with compassionate counseling, not hormones and surgery.

Be brave. Speak up.

Join with like-minded healthcare providers and boldly stand against the sexual, medical, and psychological exploitation of patients, young and old. Participate in the legislative process and advocate for the banning of cross-sex hormones and genital mutilation for minors. Sign up to receive calls to action during North Dakota’s legislative session regarding this issue and more.
